Today We Will Discuss About  Counselling Guidance For Mbbs Admission Through All India Counselling And State Counselling

In this blog, I am going to talk about the options available for low neet score students.. If your neet score is less than 450, then this blog  is for you. The qualifying cut off score was 147. This means if your score is above 146, then you become eligible to study MBBS in any medical college. This is just the eligibility mark but you need high score to get MBBS seat in government medical colleges. The expected NEET score cut off for All India Quota government college is close to 612.

This is based on the last year all India rank cut off. For state quota, it would be close to 570 if you belong to state where there are more than 15 govt medical colleges. If your state has less than 10 govt medical colleges, then the cut off would be again close to 600 depending on the competition in your state. Even if you belong to low competition reservation category, you need minimum 450 marks to get into govt medical college through state quota in most of the states. There are three options to choose from..

All India Quota government college -

If you belong to the top 5% where you can afford to pay very high tuition fees, then you can directly approach the private medical colleges for admission. Unfilled NRI seats during the govt counselling in deemed universities and private medical colleges will be filled by the medical college itself after the counselling is over. Only 1869 NRI students appeared in NEET 2020 and only 600 NRI students qualified but there are more than 4000 NRI seats. Even if your score is below 150, you can get direct admission by visiting the college. If you going through agents, make sure that, they are genuine.. or better directly visit the college and talk to the management directly.. If you think for your neet score, if you can get state quota/ management quota in deem/private college through counselling itself, then you can watch "how to get best private college through counselling" video lecture available under "Counselling courses" menu in mbbs council app.

This blog outlines what factors you need to consider to choose best private medical college. If you cannot afford 20-25 lakh/years, then the next option is studying medicine abroad. There are many below average medical college abroad. only few abroad colleges have good passing ratio in Medical license exam. You need to be much more cautious because there are many Indian students who go abroad because tuition fees is just 20 lakhs for the whole course whereas it is 20 lakhs/year in private colleges in India . They could not pass the licence exam because of their wrong choice of country, college and consultant.... We have video lecture specifically made on how to choose best country college and consultant for parents who are looking abroad.

Low NEET Score College Options to Study MBBS

The Third option is to repeat NEET exam. If this is your first attempt, then I suggest you to take drop and repeat neet exam next year. That is much better option compared to joining private college as well as studying abroad. If this is your 2nd or 3rd attempt, then you have to think that neet 2021 would be happening in just another 6 months.. It would be difficult for you to speed up what you did the whole of last year...in just 6 months... Let me ask, what is the most important thing needed to crack competitive exam like NEET.

Conclusion -

If you think it is intelligence or hard work or sincerity.... it is all wrong... what matters is the consistency... that's what make toppers...instead of studying 12 hours on some days .....split them as 3 hours every day...and do that consistently every day for next 6 months... that's all it take to get MBBS seat in All India Inst of Medical Sciences or top medical colleges in your state. The biggest difference between students who scored more than 600 are the rest is the number of MCQs they practiced. if you are not sure how to proceed and where to look for information, send Whatsapp request "GUIDE LOW SCORE"along with your state and neet score to 8667629605 for guidance.
